Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Impactful Initiatives: Design and execute strategic programs that address complex challenges in the life sciences space, leveraging your expertise to create measurable, meaningful outcomes.
• Program Oversight & Risk Management: Lead programs or multiple workstreams, proactively identifying risks, resolving obstacles, and ensuring successful results. Act as a reliable point of guidance for teams and stakeholders.
• Thought Leadership & Innovation: Contribute to CMK Select’s intellectual capital, develop new approaches, share expertise, and strengthen the firm’s influence in the industry.
• Brand Ambassador: Embody CMK Select’s values in all interactions, internally and externally.  Serve as a trusted example for professional conduct and collaborative leadership in client engagements and industry interactions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships across teams and external partners. Ensure alignment, trust, and outcomes that exceed expectations.
• Collaborative Impact: Partner across the firm to influence initiatives, share best practices, and drive collective success.
• Growth Enablement & Strategic Networking: Proactively seek opportunities to expand CMK Select’s impact, identifying where our services can create value.  Build and maintain strategic professional relationships that support long-term growth, visibility and influence.

• Planning and tracking timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
• Running core team and sub-team meetings

• Coordinating across functions to ensure alignment and execution

• Manage project plans within Planisware.
• Manage budgets, and monthly cycles, prepare governance presentations with the project leaders and guide teams through the governance process
• Support teams through multiple upcoming “commit-to” decisions and milestone reviews
• Senior-level project management experience in drug discovery
• Strong experience with discovery governance, including:

• Target selection
• Lead optimization
• Lead candidate governance

• Ability to quickly onboard and operate independently in a complex portfolio environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience supporting infectious disease programs (e.g., malaria, tuberculosis), though this is not required

Additional Information
The person can be remote. The Discovery PM will work with a team that is in Spain, so the candidate will need to manage a six hour time difference. 

The salary range for this role is $140,000 – $160,000 USD, which may vary based on experience, skills, and location.

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field with 10+ years of progressive experience in life science consulting.
•  Omnichannel project management specific to Medical Affairs
• Experience leveraging digital capabilities to evolve Medical Affairs communication channels beyond emails, websites and third-party amplification
• Experience scaling digital channels, defining the needed infrastructure, execution plan and measuring capability development
• Ability to shape, operationalize and deliver enterprise solutions designed to strengthen reach, automation, governance, digital workflow optimization and efficiency across Medical Affairs organizations
• Industry Insight: Ability to interpret life sciences trends and translate them into actionable strategies that drive impact and growth.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse audiences, including scientific, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Proactive, growth-oriented mindset that embraces challenges as opportunities for innovation, learning, and continuous improvement, with demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives.

• Support assessment, design, and rollout of enterprise solutions that improve automation, workflow optimization, and content supply chain efficiency
• Help translate strategic direction into structured frameworks, process maps, governance models, and clear implementation guidance
• Develop and maintain solution documentation including RACI/DACI models, SOPs, process flows, governance artifacts, and enablement materials
• Identify operational risks, gaps, and dependencies; provide recommendations to drive consistency, efficiency, and compliance
• Facilitate communication and alignment across key Integrated Marketing Operations partners and other cross functional stakeholders
• Support change-management by contributing to playbooks, training materials, and adoption plans
• Help redefine solutions through continuous feedback, performance insights, and operational learnings

• Bachelor’s degree and experience in digital marketing or marketing operations
• Strategic solutions project management support for digital transformation and / or marketing operations
• Experience supporting Marketing Operations specific to delivering enterprise solutions
• Experience supporting the assessment, design and rollout of enterprise solutions that improve automation, workflow optimization and content supply chain efficiency
• Proven ability to translate strategic direction into structured frameworks, process maps, governance models, and clear implementation guidance
• RACI/DACI model development, SOP, process flows, & governance artifacts documentation development
• Well-versed in ensuring operational readiness for new capabilities, workflows and future-state operating models
• Proven experience developing integrated project plans with timelines, milestones, and  risks
• Extensive experience managing complex projects and multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering measurable results.
