Senior Associate-Scientific Communications
Communications ManagerAs a Senior Associate at CMK Select, you will play a key role in shaping strategies, tackling complex challenges, and driving meaningful progress for clients within the life sciences industry. Key Responsibilities:- Drive Impactful Initiatives: Design and execute strategic programs that address complex challenges in the life sciences space, leveraging your expertise to create measurable, meaningful outcomes.
- Program Oversight & Risk Management: Lead programs or multiple workstreams, proactively identifying risks, resolving obstacles, and ensuring successful results. Act as a reliable point of guidance for teams and stakeholders.
- Thought Leadership & Innovation: Contribute to CMK Select’s intellectual capital, develop new approaches, share expertise, and strengthen the firm’s influence in the industry.
- Brand Ambassador: Embody CMK Select’s values in all interactions, internally and externally. Serve as a trusted example for professional conduct and collaborative leadership in client engagements and industry interactions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships across teams and external partners. Ensure alignment, trust, and outcomes that exceed expectations.
- Collaborative Impact: Partner across the firm to influence initiatives, share best practices, and drive collective success.
- Growth Enablement & Strategic Networking: Proactively seek opportunities to expand CMK Select’s impact, identifying where our services can create value. Build and maintain strategic professional relationships that support long-term growth, visibility and influence.
- Identifies and prioritizes scientific educational opportunities to reach targeted stakeholders in an impactful manner
- Drives development of Scientific Communications for the assigned asset(s) with a focus on:
- Scientific Platform
- Program Slides
- Disease-State Education materials
- Data/Publication updates
- Congress Presence: Tier 1 booth design, booth material and symposia; support Tier 2 activities
- Defines clear Scientific Communications goals and ensures compliant execution
- Participates cross-functional discussions in order to align on congress presence and deliverables
- In collaboration with the therapeutic area medical directors, develops medical content for congresses, symposia, and leads some of these activities
- In collaboration with the therapeutic area medical directors, assesses medical education needs and develops internal and external educational activities
- Leads projects through all review committees driving the approval of appropriate materials
- Ensures medical and scientific integrity and accuracy of all assets and ensures all materials have a fair and balanced representation
- Works with Project Manager to supervise all materials are delivered within the allocated budget, and tracks budget spend in a systematic manner
- Adheres to the highest ethical and compliance standards and a high bar personal ethics with a “patient first” value system
- PhD, MD, or PharmD with expertise in Allergy, Immunology & Inflammation preferred
- Outstanding work ethic and integrity, including high ethical and scientific standards

Additional Information
This is a salaried engagement with a remote work schedule supporting a NY-based team.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 – $165,000 USD, which may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
